Becoming a Certified B Corporation isn't just about the label. B Lab, the assessment branch of B Corp, helps us to continually measure our beneficial progress and coaches us on staying accountable.
Our companies were assessed based on our impact on our workers, customers, community, and environment. Everything counts- from our choice of suppliers, to our carbon footprint, to the treatment of our employees and hiring processes, and so much more. Every year, we set new goals to reach in terms of being more environmentally and socially conscious and beneficial. Our assessments help us to set goals that are in fact a benefit to the world, as does the B Corporation community. It's not just a one-and-done certification; every three years we are reassessed and put through the same rigorous process as the first time.
"Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. They are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. This is a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using business as a force for good."
When we say
'We Got Your Back',
we mean it.
We promise we're here to walk-the-walk, not just talk-the-talk. Part of being a B Corporation means two things: being held legally accountable (by amending our governing documents to balance profits and purpose), and being completely transparent about our assessments. Don't believe us? Take a look at our Corporate Social Responsibility Report and our full B Lab Assessment.
