We are proud to announce our first annual Indigenous Filmmaker Bursary, open to all Indigenous people aged 16+ in British Columbia.
First Nations’ storytelling and representation have been largely missing from our media landscape and we would like to play a part in starting to reverse this longstanding inequity.
The bursary includes:
- $5,000 to make a film
- Additional resources, where available, such as lighting and grip equipment from Pacific Backlot, soundstage space at VFS, and recognition on our social media channels.
